Wood Painting
Wood painting is a specialised finishing service for doors, windows, furniture, railings, and wooden décor that protects the wood and enhances its natural beauty or colour. It combines proper surface preparation with the right primers, putties, stains, and topcoats so woodwork looks rich and lasts longer under everyday use.
Wood Painting – Service Overview
Wood painting covers interior and exterior elements such as doors, door frames, windows, wardrobes, kitchen shutters, railings, pergolas, and outdoor furniture. The process generally includes sanding, repairing, priming, and applying paint, polish, or clear coatings depending on whether the grain should show or be fully covered.
What we do
Inspect existing woodwork for moisture, old coatings, cracks, gaps, and loose joints, then recommend whether to repaint, re‑polish, or refinish completely.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping off loose paint or polish, sanding smooth, filling joints and nail holes with suitable wood fillers, and sealing end grains.
Apply appropriate primer or sealer (wood primer, sanding sealer, stain sealer) to improve adhesion and block stains or tannin bleed.
Finish with the chosen system—opaque enamels, coloured wood paints, stains plus clear PU/melamine, or exterior wood coatings—using brushes, rollers, or spray for a uniform finish.
Carry out final sanding and touch‑ups, re‑fix fittings/handles, and hand over clean, ready‑to‑use doors, windows, or furniture.
Where we are expert
Interior doors, frames, and wardrobes that need a smooth, premium finish in either solid colours or natural‑wood look.
