Waterproof Painting

Waterproof painting is a protective coating service that combines paint with waterproofing technology to stop moisture from entering walls, terraces, and other surfaces. It helps prevent damp patches, peeling paint, mould, and structural damage, and reduces how often repainting or repairs are needed over the life of the building.

Waterproof Painting – Service Overview
Waterproof painting uses specialised waterproof or water‑repellent coatings on areas exposed to rain, seepage, or high humidity—such as exterior walls, bathrooms, balconies, roofs, and basements. These coatings form a barrier that resists water penetration while still allowing the surface to breathe, helping the structure stay sound and the finish look fresh for longer.

What we do
Inspect walls, terraces, bathrooms, balconies, and basements for existing dampness, hairline cracks, efflorescence, and loose plaster before proposing a system.

Clean the surface thoroughly, remove loose paint, treat algae or mould, and repair cracks and joints with suitable fillers or polymer‑modified mortars.

Apply primers or base coats designed for waterproofing—such as elastomeric or polymer‑based coatings—matched to the substrate (plaster, concrete, brick).

Finish with waterproof or water‑repellent topcoats in the customer’s chosen colours so they get both protection and a neat painted look.

Provide usage and maintenance guidance, including re‑coat intervals and how to handle future drilling or fixtures without compromising the system.

Where we are expert
Exterior walls and parapets that face heavy rain and direct sun, where normal paint tends to peel or crack.

Wet areas like bathrooms, utility spaces, and kitchen splash zones that need moisture resistance and easy cleaning.

Damp‑prone spaces such as basements, lift pits, and water‑tank surroundings where seepage can damage the structure and create health issues.

What makes us unique
Solution‑based approach: the system is selected after understanding the root cause of dampness, not just covering stains with paint.

Use of modern waterproof paints and coatings that offer mould/mildew resistance, improved durability, and easier washing compared with ordinary emulsions.

Integration of crack‑bridging, elastomeric, or breathable systems that help protect against both hairline cracks and wind‑driven rain, extending the life of the plaster and paint.

Focus on long‑term savings: proper waterproof painting reduces structural damage and maintenance costs, and can increase property value and indoor comfort.
