Terrace Waterproofing
Terrace waterproofing protects flat roofs from water seepage, cracks, and structural damage by applying specialized coatings or membranes that handle ponding, UV exposure, and thermal expansion. It prevents leaks into lower floors, extends slab life, and maintains usable outdoor space
Terrace Waterproofing – Service Overview
Terrace waterproofing uses liquid membranes, cementitious coatings, PU systems, or brick bat coba methods on concrete slabs, including repairs to cracks and slopes for proper drainage. Effective systems create seamless, flexible barriers lasting 5–10 years with proper application and maintenance.
What we do
Clean and repair the surface by pressure washing, filling cracks with polymer grout, and treating honeycombs or spalling with cement slurry.
Create 1–2% slope using screed if needed, then apply primer followed by 2–3 coats of liquid membrane (acrylic, PU, or elastomeric) or cementitious waterproofing slurry.
For high-performance areas, install PU liquid membrane or bituminous sheets, reinforced with fiberglass mesh in crack-prone zones.
Flood test the system for 48–72 hours to verify no leaks, then apply protective topcoat or lay thin brick/tile overlay for UV and foot traffic protection.
Where we are expert
Open terraces and roof slabs in apartments prone to monsoon ponding and thermal cracking.
Utility terraces with water tanks, AC units, or garden loads needing durable, walkable waterproofing.
Renovation waterproofing over old, leaking systems without major demolition.
What makes us unique
Multi-layer systems combining cementitious base coat, flexible membrane, and UV topcoat for crack-bridging and long-term elasticity.
Branded materials like Weber, Dr. Fixit, or Asian Paints products matched to exposure (monsoon-heavy areas get PU over cementitious).
Slope creation and drainage integration during waterproofing to eliminate ponding, not just coat over it.
5–7 year warranty with flood test certification and maintenance schedule for re-coating intervals.
