Interlocking Blocks
Interlocking blocks are precast concrete units with tongue-and-groove or nib edges that lock together without mortar, creating strong, permeable walls, pavements, or retaining structures. They offer faster installation, earthquake resistance, and easy disassembly compared to traditional masonry.
Interlocking Blocks – Service Overview
Interlocking blocks suit boundary walls, compound walls, garden retaining walls, and permeable pavements where dry stacking speeds construction while maintaining stability and drainage. Sizes range from 200x200x100mm pavers to larger 400x200x200mm wall blocks.
What we do
Prepare level foundation with 150mm PCC base and compacted granular fill for stability.
Dry-lay blocks from corners in running bond or stack bond, ensuring nibs engage fully and plumb checked every 3 courses.
Insert vertical/horizontal reinforcement and grout selected cores for height/load; add coping and plaster where aesthetics require.
Joints remain open or filled with sand/gravel for permeable surfaces; test stability before handover.
Where we are expert
Residential compound walls (6–10ft high) replacing slow brickwork with 1–2 day installation.
Retaining walls for sloped gardens handling soil pressure without weep holes.
Permeable pavements in driveways reducing runoff while supporting cars.
What makes us unique
Mortarless system cuts labor 50% and allows disassembly/reuse unlike bonded walls.
Precise factory tolerances (±2mm) ensuring tight vertical alignment without spacers.
Seismic performance from friction grip and mass, ideal for soft soils.
Custom textures/colors (rustic, smooth) matching architecture with minimal site finishing.
