Floor / Tile Painting
Floor / tile painting is a specialised service that refreshes old concrete or tiled floors using high‑adhesion, heavy‑duty coatings so they look new and withstand foot traffic, moisture, and cleaning. It is ideal when clients want a makeover without the cost and mess of breaking and re‑tiling.
Floor / Tile Painting – Service Overview
Floor / tile painting involves cleaning, priming, and coating existing concrete, ceramic, or vitrified tiles with dedicated floor or tile paints instead of regular wall emulsions. These coatings are formulated to bond to smooth surfaces, resist abrasion, and remain washable in kitchens, bathrooms, balconies, parking areas, and shops.
What we do
Inspect the floor type (concrete, ceramic, vitrified, parking, industrial, etc.), check for cracks, loose tiles, oil stains, or moisture, and advise whether painting is suitable.
Deep clean and degrease the surface, scrub grout lines, and lightly sand or abrade tiles to improve adhesion before masking skirtings and fixtures.
Apply a bonding/epoxy or concrete primer designed for tiles and floors, ensuring it reaches grout lines and edges properly.
Lay down 1–2 coats of floor or tile paint using rollers and brushes, often in low‑sheen or matte finishes for better grip and cleaner stencil lines if patterns are used.
Seal with a clear, high‑traffic topcoat in heavy‑use areas (kitchen, bathroom, corridors, shops, parking) to increase durability and make maintenance easier.
Where we are expert
Residential bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, and utility areas where old tiles look dated but are structurally sound.
Living rooms or passages where clients want patterned or stencilled floors without installing new tiles.
Small commercial spaces such as salons, boutiques, clinics, or cafés that need a quick visual upgrade during short shutdown windows.
What makes us unique
Use of specialised epoxy, PU, or two‑part tile paints instead of regular wall paints, giving better adhesion and wear resistance on smooth tile surfaces.
Option to combine plain floor painting with stencilled or geometric designs so floors look custom and premium.
Careful planning of drying and curing times, guiding clients on when the floor can be walked on and how to clean it so the finish lasts.
Transparent advice on limitations—where repainting is a good solution and where complete re‑tiling or different flooring is recommended.
