Concrete Work
Concrete work involves pouring, forming, and finishing reinforced cement concrete (RCC) elements like slabs, beams, columns, stairs, and foundations to create strong, durable structures. It ensures proper mix design, placement, compaction, and curing for load-bearing capacity and crack resistance.
Concrete Work – Service Overview
Concrete work covers formwork setup, steel bar bending/fixing, concrete mixing/pumping, vibration, surface finishing, and curing for residential slabs, beams, columns, lintels, stairs, and small footings. The focus is on achieving design strength (M20–M30 typically for homes) with uniform compaction and smooth, level surfaces ready for further finishes.
What we do
Set up sturdy formwork (plywood/steel) aligned to exact levels, braced properly, and sealed to prevent leakage during pouring.
Bend, cut, and tie reinforcement bars as per structural drawings, ensuring correct spacing, laps, and cover for corrosion protection.
Mix or arrange ready-mix concrete (OPC/PPC cement, graded aggregates, water-cement ratio) and pour systematically, using vibrators for full compaction without segregation.
Finish surfaces with trowelling, floating, or texturing as required, then apply curing compounds or water ponding for 7–14 days to prevent shrinkage cracks.
Dismantle forms after strength gain, clean surfaces, and inspect for honeycombs or defects before handover.
Where we are expert
Residential roof slabs, balconies, and loft slabs where precise levelling and vibration ensure flat, waterproof surfaces.
Beams, columns, and staircases in framed structures needing tight tolerances and clean lines for plaster/paint.
Small footings, lintels, and repair pours for renovations or additions without disrupting ongoing construction.
What makes us unique
Controlled mix proportions and slump tests on site (or verified ready-mix tickets) to guarantee consistent strength and workability.
Proper vibration and curing protocols that eliminate voids, honeycombing, and surface crazing common in rushed pours.
Coordination with steel fixing and formwork teams for seamless workflow, reducing delays and rework.
Clean demobilisation with protected surfaces, plus basic strength cube testing reports for owner records and future reference
