Earthing Work

Earthing work creates a safe path for fault current to flow into the ground so people, appliances, and the building are protected from electric shock and fire risk. A properly designed earthing system keeps exposed metal parts at safe voltage levels when something goes wrong in the wiring or equipment.

Earthing Work – Service Overview
Earthing work involves installing earth electrodes (rods/plates), earth pits, and earthing conductors, then connecting them to the main electrical system, distribution boards, and key metal parts. The aim is to achieve low earth resistance so protective devices (MCB/RCCB) trip quickly during faults and excess charge is safely dissipated into the soil.

What we do
Survey the site to find suitable locations with good soil moisture and space for earth pits, keeping safe distance from foundations and services.
Install earth rods or plates in properly prepared pits using backfill materials like charcoal, sand, or conductive compounds where required to reduce resistance.

Run earthing conductors from electrodes to the main panel, DBs, and key equipment, using the correct cable size, clamps, and corrosion‑resistant connections.

Build accessible earth pits with covers and test links so resistance testing and maintenance can be done easily over the years.

Measure earth resistance after installation and commission the system only when values meet recommended safety limits.

Where we are expert
Residential houses and apartments that need reliable earthing for main supply, inverter/UPS, solar, and sensitive electronics.

Commercial and small industrial premises where machinery, metal structures, and IT systems require dedicated earthing for safety and performance.

Upgrading old or ineffective earthing systems that show high resistance, frequent shocks, or nuisance tripping.

What makes us unique
Use of tested designs and materials chosen for local soil conditions, helping maintain low resistance over time instead of only on day one.

Strong mechanical and electrical joints—proper clamps, exothermic or bolted connections—that minimise corrosion and loose contacts.

Provision for regular testing through clearly marked earth pits and test links, along with basic documentation of locations and readings.

Safety‑first approach that coordinates earthing with lightning protection, bonding of metal parts, and protection devices so the entire system works together in a fault situatio
