Flooring Preparation – Service Overview
Flooring preparation involves cleaning, levelling, and profiling new or old concrete slabs so tiles or overlays bond properly without hollows, cracks, or de-bonding over time. It covers hacking, grinding, shot blasting, slurry filling, and screeding for residential bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and balconies.

What we do
Clean surfaces by pressure washing, degreasing, and vacuuming to remove dust, oil, laitance, or old adhesive residues that block bonding.

Profile concrete using shot blasting, grinding, or diamond grinding to achieve CSP 3–5 roughness (like 80-grit sandpaper) for mechanical key.

Fill honeycombs, cracks, and low spots with cement slurry, epoxy mortar, or self-levelling compounds, then screed for a flat, uniform surface.

Check levels with digital instruments and apply primer or bonding slurry before tile laying to prevent lippage and ensure full bed coverage.

Cure and protect the prepared surface until tiling, avoiding foot traffic or moisture exposure.
